Celebrate Sonoma Day

Infineon Raceway will open its gates on Sunday, May 31, for "Celebrate Sonoma Day" at the Wine Country Classic Historic Car Races, a day designed specifically for Sonoma Valley residents.

It's the perfect event for "Celebrate Sonoma Day," as Sonoma Valley residents will receive VIP treatment. What's Happening

Get a Taste of the Valley in the Wine Country Pavilion (All Weekend)
Enhance your race-day experience by sampling some of the best food and wine the Sonoma and Napa valleys have to offer at the Wine Country Pavilion.  Admission to the Wine Country Pavilion, as well as a number of free food and wine samples, is included with your weekend admission ticket and proceeds from the pavilion will benefit Speedway Children's Charities.  The pavilion, which is situated behind the main grandstand, will be open on Saturday and Sunday from noon-3 p.m.

Vintage Race Car Festival Returns to Sonoma Plaza
Head to the Sonoma Plaza following Saturday's races for the Vintage Race Car Festival, which features samples from some of Sonoma's top restaurants and wineries, as well as more than 30 vintage cars on display. All proceeds benefit Speedway Children's Charities, the charitable arm of Infineon Raceway.  Tickets are $35 at the event, which kicks off at 5:30 p.m.

Wine Country Classic Event Poster
David Grandin, a local artist who lives in Pleasant Hill in the East Bay, created this year's event poster, which depicts the popular Morgan Baby Doll. Grandin will be available to autograph posters in the Wine Country Pavilion on Saturday and Sunday from noon- 3 p.m.  Posters are $10 each, with proceeds benefiting Speedway Children's Charities. You can purchase yours at the Ticket Pit Stop behind the main grandstand or inside the Wine Country Pavilion. This marks the seventh poster in the Wine Country Classic series, which dates back to 2002.

Classic Car Corrals
Infineon Raceway will host a number of car corrals at the Wine Country Classic, including Porsche, Mini Cooper, Fiero, Shelby Cobra and Morgan, among others. The car corrals will be dotted around the raceway, so feel free to explore.

Track Talk
Meet some of the racecar drivers from the Wine Country Classic weekend at Track Talk, a fan forum designed to allow fans to ask questions and get an inside look at the action. Track Talk will be hosted at noon on Saturday and Sunday in the Wine Country Winner's Circle. 

AAA Designated Driver Program
Come by the AAA Designated Driver Program booth on Sunday to become a designated driver for your group.  Just fill out a pledge card - under the direction of the AAA Northern California- and receive a free bottle of water.

Classic Car Cruise

Speedway Children's Charities Booth
Visit the Speedway Children's Charities booth located in the Wine Country Pavilion to learn more about the charitable arm of Infineon Raceway.  Speedway Children's Charities is dedicated to raising money for needy youth organizations in Sonoma County, and has distributed more than $3 million since 2002.
