FRAM Autolite NHRA Nationals
July 25 - July 27, 2008

The fastest-accelerating vehicles on the planet will take to Infineon Raceway's world-famous drag strip during the FRAM Autolite NHRA Nationals in 2008. The 6,000-horsepower Top Fuel dragsters will headline the weekend, along with Funny Cars, Pro Stock Cars and Pro Stock Motorcycles. Since it was renovated in 2002, the Infineon Raceway drag strip has been one of the quickest and fastest in the country. Fans are sure to enjoy this weekend of speed and thunder, which will be highlighted by a round of qualifying under the lights on Friday evening.

What's Happening

Track Talk
Race fans are invited to the Wine Country Winner's Circle during the race weekend for intimate question-and-answer sessions with top NHRA drivers. Sessions will be held on Friday at noon and 1 p.m. and Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

NHRA Driver Autograph Session
Fans will have a chance to meet many of the stars from the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series at the driver autograph session. Stay tuned to www.infineonraceway.com for dates and times, but expect a full contingent of Top Fuel/Funny Car/Pro Stock drivers, as well as Pro Stock Bike riders.

Wall of Fame Ceremony
An NHRA drag racer will be inducted into the Infineon Raceway Wall of Fame on Sunday, July 27, during pre-event ceremonies. Stay tuned to www.infineonraceway.com for an announcement in the coming months. Current NHRA drivers in the Wall of Fame are: Gary Scelzi (2007), John Force (2006) and Warren Johnson (2005).

Live Music by the Unauthorized Rolling Stones
Former San Francisco mayor Willie Brown has been quoted as saying, "I love the Unauthorized Rolling Stones." You can catch this tremendous act at Infineon Raceway all weekend at the FRAM Autolite NHRA Nationals. It's the next best thing to standing alongside Mick Jagger. This band will perform behind the main grandstand throughout the weekend.
