NASCAR Driver Appearances - Elliott Sadler, driver of the No. 36 M&M's car, will make an appearance at the Save Mart Supermarkets store in Modesto (801 Oakdale Rd.) on June 23 from 5-7 p.m.
- Tony Stewart will be appearing from 6-8 p.m. on June 23 at The Home Depot on 2750 Crown Canyon Road in San Ramon.
- Ron Fellows will participate in the 2nd annual Eldridge Checkered Flag Auction on Thursday, June 23. This event will include wine and beer tasting, music, a car show and a silent and live auction. Fellows will sign autographs from 6:30 to 7pm. This event will run from 6 to 10 p.m. in downtown Sonoma at the Veterans Building at 126 First Street West. NASCAR Night at the Saddlerack in Fremont

NASCAR NEXTEL Cup regular Ken Schrader will be filling his racing weekend by taking to the dirt on Saturday, June 25, at Antioch Speedway, in a late model stock car, in addition to the Dodge/Save Mart 350. The one-quarter mile oval at the Contra Costa Fairgrounds at 10 and L Streets in Antioch should be just to Schrader's liking, as he often competes in short-track races around the country. The speedway is hosting a $3,000-to-win main event for the Western Dirt Late Model Tour and the Pacific Coast Extreme Dirtcar Series, which will bring in drivers from Southern California to Washington. The smash television show "Monster Garage" will come to Infineon Raceway for the first time during the Dodge/Save Mart 350 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup weekend, as six wild machines will be on display in the Save Mart Family Area all weekend. Bodydrop, the popular sidekick to Jesse James on the show, will also make an appearance at Infineon Raceway on Saturday and sign autographs. The show airs on the Discovery Channel. Two of the cars on display will be the Hot Dog Dragster and the Cop Car/Doughnut Car machine. The "Monster Garage" display is presented by Levi Strauss Signature. Click here for more information... Six lucky race fans will have the chance to win one-of-a-kind "Driver Dream Packages" at the 3rd annual Race-n-Rock Charity Auction at Infineon Raceway. The lucky winners will get to take a slow-speed parade lap with a NASCAR driver around the 10-turn, 1.99-mile road course during driver introductions on Sunday, June 26. They will also get to watch pre-race ceremonies from the start/finish line. The list of drivers to choose from features stars Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, Carl Edwards, Kurt Busch, Dale Jarrett and Jimmie Johnson. Infineon Raceway has partnered with the California Highway Patrol for the 2005 major-event season to raise awareness of a very serious issue: drinking and driving. The two will join forces during select major events at Infineon Raceway in 2005 with a Designated Driver Program booth, which is designed to not only educate people about the dangers of drinking and driving, but also reward those who choose to become designated drivers. The booth will be operated by both Infineon Raceway and CHP officers and will contain literature, designated driver pledge cards, free bottled water and prizes. The booth will be operational on Sunday, June 26. Be sure to stop by and sign-up to become a designated driver and receive your free bottle of water. Larry The Cable Guy Named Grand Marshall of NASCAR Weekend
Larry The Cable Guy, best known for adding catchphrases like "Git-R-Done" and "Lord, I Apologize" to the American lexicon, will be the Grand Marshall of the Dodge/Save Mart 350 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup weekend at Infineon Raceway. Larry The Cable Guy will be honored at the annual Raceway Builders Grand Marshall's Banquet at beautiful Cline Cellars in the Sonoma Valley on Friday night. The event is a benefit for Speedway Children's Charities and has generated nearly $200,000 the last three years. The native of Pawnee City (Neb.) will also participate in race-day activities on Sunday, and he will also join with Northern California Dodge Dealers for the most famous words in racing: "Gentlemen, Start Your Engines." Oakland Police Drill Team
The Oakland Police Drill Team will return to Infineon Raceway on Sunday to perform as part of the pre-race activities prior to the Dodge/Save Mart 350. The drill team is comprised of officers from the Oakland Police Department's Traffic Division, and their performance is made up of many routines that have been around since the Drill Team was formed in the early 1940s. The team rides 2000 and 2001 Harley Davidson Police Road Kings. These are the same motorcycles they ride during their regular tour of duty. Supercuts Cuts Hair for Charity
Stylists from Bay Area and Sacramento Supercuts locations will be giving haircuts during the Dodge/Save Mart 350 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup weekend, with all proceeds benefiting needy youth organizations in Sonoma County through Speedway Children's Charities, the charitable arm of Infineon Raceway. The marks Supercuts' fourth year of providing this great service ? you can also catch the team at this year's FRAM Autolite NHRA Nationals, presented by Supercuts, July 29-31. Supercuts raised more than $3,000 for the charity last year alone.
