Motorcycle Memorabilia, Race Gear Featured at Cycle Gear Motorcycle Charity Auction

SONOMA, Calif. ¿ Signed memorabilia from top AMA road-race stars like five-time Daytona 200 champion Miguel Duhamel, Ducati Austin¿s Neil Hodgson and Yamaha¿s Jamie Hacking will be up for grabs at the 2nd annual Cycle Gear Motorcycle Charity Auction at Infineon Raceway.

More than 25 one-of-a-kind signed items will be available at this combined silent/live auction, which will take place at 12:15 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, in the Winner¿s Circle at Infineon Raceway. It¿s all part of the big Kawasaki AMA Superbike Showdown weekend (May 13-15), presented by Supercuts. All proceeds benefit needy youth organizations in Sonoma County through Speedway Children¿s Charities. Last year¿s auction raised nearly $10,000.

Some of the items enthusiasts can expect on the internet auction, as well as at the silent/live auction at the raceway on Sunday, May 15, include:

  • Duhamel signed Joe Rocket riding jacket.
  • Duhamel signed Honda 2005 crew shirt.
  • Hacking signed race leathers or helmet.
  • Jason Disalvo signed race boots.
  • Jake Zemke signed race helmet.

  • Raceway officials are hopeful top AMA riders will be present in the Winner¿s Circle for the auction.
