Pit Stop Demonstration at Ghirardelli Square - Wednesday, July 13, 11 a.m.
The Flying Lizard American Le Mans Series GT2 Porsche team will show off their skills with a unique pit crew demonstration in the middle of scenic Ghirardelli Square on San Francisco's Fishermen's Wharf. You'll see the team complete a standard pit stop, including a driver change and tire change, in record time in the center of Ghirardelli Square. You can also get an up-close look at the Flying Lizard Porsche and meet driver Johannes van Overbeek, a resident of San Francisco.
ALMS Autograph Session Returns During Race Weekend - Saturday, July 16
The always-popular American Le Mans Series driver autograph session will return this year at the Infineon Technologies Grand Prix of Sonoma on Saturday, July 16, from noon-1 p.m. This session will feature all of the drivers from the American Le Mans Series and offers a chance to get autographs from all of your favorite drivers. SPEED World Challenge Driver Autograph Session - Saturday, July 16
Saturday will also offer a chance to meet all of the SPEED World Challenge Series drivers at an autograph session to be held in the winner's circle. Drivers from the GT and Touring Car classes will be featured.
Corvette Owners and Enthusiasts return to Infineon Raceway for the event weekend - July 15-17
IMSA and the American Le Mans Series in cooperation with the National Corvette Museum and Western States Corvette Council will again welcome Corvette owners and enthusiasts at the Chevy Presents Corvette Corral at Infineon Grand Prix of Sonoma from July 15-17. The event is part of the Infineon Grand Prix, the fifth race of the 2005 American Le Mans Series season.
Fans of the classic American muscle car will be at Infineon Raceway to watch Corvette Racing's works C6-Rs and a host of top racing teams do battle in the historic Infineon Raceway. That combined with a flurry of activities are sure to keep Corvette lovers busy for the entire weekend.
