SONOMA, Calif. - Blue Lizard Australian Suncream is offering young artists a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to start the Blue Lizard Suncream 200 at Infineon Raceway during the Dodge/Save Mart 350 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup weekend, June 23-25.

In conjunction with The SHADE Foundation of America, Blue Lizard is asking California students in grades K-8 to design a poster that promotes sun safety. The grand-prize winner of the "SunWise with SHADE" poster contest and his or her immediate family will not only attend the Blue Lizard Suncream 200 on June 24, they will utter the most famous words in racing: "Drivers, Start Your Engines!" The Blue Lizard Suncream 200 will feature the NASCAR Grand National Division, AutoZone West Series in a 64-lap feature on the twisting road course.

The poster contest is just one way Blue Lizard uses its involvement with NASCAR to encourage sun safety among race fans. Blue Lizard also will hold free skin cancer screenings during the Dodge/Save Mart 350 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series weekend at Infineon Raceway.

Winning posters will be chosen from each grade level, but only the grand-prize winner will receive the Blue Lizard Suncream 200 prize pack. The grand-prize poster will be autographed by the winner of the Blue Lizard Suncream 200. The grand-prize winner will also qualify his or her school for a $1,000 SHADE grant.

Teachers are encouraged to use this contest as an art project that will help children understand the importance of practicing sun-safe habits. Entries must be postmarked no later than June 12.
