Race fans are invited FREE to a test session on Thursday, Aug. 14, at Infineon Raceway, featuring many of the top stars on the IndyCar® Series circuit, including Marco Andretti.
The test will mark the first visit to Infineon Raceway for several of the former Champ Car Series drivers and teams, including E.J. Viso, Will Power and Oriol Servia. This is also the first time most of these drivers will test the new course configuration for the upcoming race, which features a modification between Turns 6-7. The test is being held in advance of the PEAK Antifreeze & Motor Oil Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma County, Aug. 22-24.
Some of the drivers confirmed for the test include:
- Andretti (Andretti Green Racing)
- Viso (HVM Racing)
- Servia (KV Racing Technology)
- Tomas Scheckter (Luczo Dragon Racing)
- Vitor Meira (Panther Racing)
- Marty Roth (Roth Racing)
- AJ Foyt IV (Vision Racing)
The test session is FREE to the public and will run from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on the 2.425-mile road course. Race fans will also get to hear what the drivers have to say during a press conference, which will be held during the lunch hour, in the Infineon Raceway Business Center.

The PEAK Antifreeze & Motor Oil Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma County will mark the fourth consecutive visit to the Sonoma Valley for the IndyCar Series. The weekend will also feature the Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series, the Firestone Indy Lights and the Historic Grand Prix.
